Artist's Comments

I took this on a 15 second exposure from a little bridge/walkway. I tried it one time before but the people who were with me unknowingly would shake the bridge as they walked so I went alone this time. I think it's pretty cool, I'm going to reshoot it at somepoint when it's not quite so dark. The sky to me didn't pick up very well in my camera.

*EDIT* I went out last night in an attempt to reshoot and get a better sky, the top version is the newest. I just wanted people to be able to compare. I threw it together rather quick because I didn't have time to really spend on it. I'm pretty happy with the new version all though I just realized it's a little angled, I'll fix that later. it's time to be responsable and go to work.

nice shot, if you want the sky to come in better then maybe using a graded ND filter would help? so you can have more light on the top then bottom or something ..
unfortunatly my camera os a point and shoot so I can't use filters unless in photoshop. with this one they didn't help because my camera only goes up to a 15 second exposure...it was just too late. I need to read the manual and see if I can get longer exposure times under another setting

Really like this. Know what you mean about the sky though. the rest of it looks amazing tho.
Ive been planning on taking a similar shot for a while now off a motorway bridge in belfast

just don't get there too late unless your camera stays open for more than 15 seconds. then we can compare notes...I'm sure yours will be better....maybe that'll give me reason to head back over there when I get home, I can't be staged up! :ninja: muwah ha ha ha...it's on like Donkey Kong!....if I remember :giggle:

I just need to get it earlier in the evening before the sun is totally gone so I can get a truer blue, it just looks grainy or lacking in something. I'll do it again. my camera's a cannon s70 7.1mpx point and shoot, it's a really great camera I'm still learning it's features though
